On November 10th, we attended a Jimmy Choo event that was in collaboration with Melanie Pace in support of the Make-A-Wish foundation. Make-A-Wish is a heartwarming foundation that grants a wish for children who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening condition. This foundation is so determined to make a difference, that on average, they grant a wish for a child every 40 minutes or so. We, of course, were thrilled to be a part of an event that honored and donated to such a cause.

Of course, there had to be a fashion element to the event as well – this is when the new Jimmy Choo Cruise ’16 collection was revealed. The collection is breathtaking – inspired by sunlight and moonlight, driven by wanderlust and adventure. The sunlight inspired items are earthy in both tones and textures, while the moonlight items are contrasted with luminous colors and jagged textures. Although each are different, they compliment each other in the most magical fashion – creating a breathtaking, cohesive collection.

Between admiring the new collection and mingling with fellow attendees, or trying on luxe items while getting photos taken by the photographer present, we were able to meet the Development and Events Manager for Make-A-Wish who shared with us how events such as this benefit the foundation. It made us that much more excited that we were able to attend and we look forward to any upcoming events in the future benefiting a great cause! More images from the lovely event to come soon.
